Man shot & killed in Eastridge

CAPE TOWN - A 46-year-old man has been shot and killed in what’s believed to be a gang-related incident in Eastridge, Mitchells Plain, on Saturday afternoon.

Mitchells Plain police have launched a murder investigation, however, no arrests have been made so far.

Police spokesperson FC van Wyk said that the suspects fled the scene and remain at large.

"The deceased was shot multiple times to the head and body. The victim was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel. The motive is believed to be gang-related. A murder case was registered for investigation."
