JOHANNESBURG - Rand Water has confirmed that supply is slowly returning following the completion of repairs to a major pipe burst.
Many households, businesses, and healthcare centres have been without water for almost three days.

Spokesperson Makenosi Maroo has urged residents to be patient as water gradually returns.
"Yes, we acknowledge that there was a burst pipe. We are in the process of fixing it. Yesterday, we managed to finish everything. Areas are beginning to get water. Some of them were getting water from last night, some of them are getting water as we speak this morning."
