Cape Town residents urged to brace for stormy weather over the weekend

CAPE TOWN - Cape Town's Disaster Risk Management Centre is urging residents to prepare for a storm, expected to make landfall early on Saturday.
In addition to cold, wet and windy conditions, light snowfall is also likely over the mountains.
Disaster Risk Spokesperson, Charlotte Powell, said, "The South African Weather Service has issued a number of yellow warnings for wind, waves and rainfall over the weekend. The Disaster Risk Management Centre has alerted all relevant city departments to be on standby for any potential impacts brought about by the forecast."
