Mahoro Street is still cordoned off to traffic as the bomb team searches through the area looking for any signs of explosives and fire cartridges.
Some frustrated community members whose roofs were blown off as a result of the explosion say they do not know how they will sleep on Monday night.
Some debris from the explosion went through the roofs of several homes, leaving them wide open, amid a cold winter season.
The damaged G4S vehicle still lies stationary in the middle of the street between Umzamo Primary School and the damaged homes.
Forensic teams continue to comb the area for spent cartridges.
