Two others remain in critical condition at the hospital, while police investigate a case of culpable homicide.
Meanwhile, an outpouring of tributes over the tragedy has been circulating online in remembrance of 16-year-old Kiara-Joy Daniels, 15-year-old Adrian Le Roux, 17-year-old Perth Eksteen, and Daniel Jansen van Rensburg, who was over the age of 18.
Kiara-Joy was homeschooled and lived with her father, Phillip, and her older brother.
The grief-stricken father has described his daughter as a caring, empathetic person, who was always willing to help anyone in need.
The family had planned to go to church on the Sunday at Kiara’s request.
Phillip said that he was trying to stay strong for the family, especially for her older brother.
"We are preparing for the memorial service and the funeral. It is very difficult for me to every time see the pictures and see her, especially the videos, because it looks like I'm seeing her talking to me or doing the things that she used to do."
Phillip added that mourning his daughter’s death had been extremely tough, especially because she was always near him.
Kiara-Joy will be laid to rest on Saturday.
