The 30-year-old wants an amendment to the bail condition that prohibits her from entering any SAPS intelligence premises.

In an affidavitread by her lawyer, Phelo Mahlati, Mokwele said the SA police service has not released her from her duties.

"Due to the attached bail conditions which prohibit me from accessing my employment station and or the crime intelligence offices of the Republic of SA, such suffices as an indirect dismissal of my employment, and I submit it tramples my employment rights in terms of the Labour Relations Act and Employment Equity Act," said Mahlati.

The matter will resume on 8 September 2025 for further oral arguments.
