JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg Emergency Management Services (EMS) has confirmed that a local church, The Freeway Tabernacle in Protea, Soweto, is on fire.
Its teams are currently at the scene working on containing the fire.
Johannesburg EMS spokesperson, Robert Mulaudzi, said no injuries have been reported at this stage.
“Firefighters are currently attending to a local church on fire reported in Protea South, and the cause of the fire is still an object on investigation.”
