CAPE TOWN - The Cape Flats Safety Forum has strongly condemned the murder of a three-month-old baby after a shooting in Bonteheuwel Friday morning.
The child was killed in a gang related incident when two unidentified men entered a home in Yellowwood and opened fire on the residents.
Bishop Lavis CPF Chairperson Graham Lindhorst claimed the father of the child was a known gangster in the area.
The Cape Flats Safety Forum, Abe Isaacs said a 72-hour plan needs to be activated.
"We firstly want to extend our condolences to the bereaved family, secondly, we condemn the recent shooting of this morning in the strongest terms whereby an infant was the latest victim," said Isaacs.
