CAPE TOWN - A suspected gang-related shooting has left three men injured in Overcome Heights, Muizenberg.
The victims were reportedly found with gunshot wounds to the face and legs on Mountain Road on Sunday.
Police spokesperson Malcolm Pojie said an attempted murder case has been opened and the investigation is ongoing.
“They were transported to a medical facility for treatment. Their shooters fled the scene and are still to be arrested. The motive is regarded as gang related. Anyone with information regarding the shooting incident is requested to contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111.”
Meanwhile, in other parts of Cape Town, police were deployed in large numbers on the same day to prevent the People Against Gangsterism and Drugs (PAGAD) from marching in Bonteheuwel and Mitchells Plain.
