DURBAN - The family of a man who was shot and killed by KwaZulu-Natal police on Wednesday morning believes they got the wrong guy.
Ayanda Manyu was killed following a shootout with police in KwaNgcolosi.

He was linked to the 2023 murder of a police officer in the province, Constable Mnqobi Shangase.
Mantu’s wife, Buysile Magwaza, believes her husband was framed.
"Even with the cop story, the officer is the one who shot at my husband and damaged his car but he instead fled. Another car came from behind and shot. Why are the police not looking at that incident? Because when the other came and shot Mnqobi, my husband had left that scene."
