The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education says it's ready for the upcoming final matric examination.
Officials said they're leaving nothing to chance and will ensure the exams take place without any incidents.
On Tuesday, KZN Premier Thamsanqa Ntuli and Education MEC, Sipho Hlomuka, inspected the exam paper printing centre at an undisclosed location.
They said they want to ensure there are no exam paper leaks or cheating.
Hlomuka said everything is in place as Grade 12 pupils prepare to write their final exam in two weeks.
"We have an integrated team which includes municipalities, COGTA, and law enforcement agencies, that is why we are meeting to ensure that there is no disruption of exams."
He adds that in case of protests in communities, they will ensure that schools are not affected.
"We are working with municipalities to ensure that if communities have issues with local government, but they must not disrupt exams."
