The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) says it will soon shed light on its raid at the home of tender tycoon, Hangwani Maumela.
The SIU swooped in on his luxury Sandton property on Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation into tender corruption at Tembisa Hospital.
Maumela has been implicated as one of the figures behind a syndicate accused of looting contracts at the facility, which slain whistleblower, Babita Deokaran, also flagged.
During the raid at his home, the SIU seized three Lamborghini vehicles and several valuable artworks.

Businessman Hangwani Maumela’s vehicles are now in the custody of the state, but EWN understands the SIU is expected to return to his home on Friday to seize more of his assets.
It's understood the SIU may target furniture from his lavish three-story mansion, as none was taken during Thursday’s raid.
SIU spokesperson Ngwako Motsieng said the unit was unable to disclose further details at this stage.
"The operation is linked to Tembisa [Hospital] investigations. However, we are not able to say much at this stage, simply because there are some legal processes that still need to be finalised."
According to the SIu, three of the companies that received contracts under the alleged Maumela syndicate are linked to Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala.
