NW cops descend on Brown Mogotsi's premises

Police in the North West are currently at the business premises of controversial businessman Brown Mogotsi – amid a probe into alleged dodgy dealings.

KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi previously linked Mogotsi to Senzo Mchunu, who is currently on special leave amid claims of political interference in police operations.

Mogotsi is accused of being part of the push to disband the political task team – a move that irked Mkhwanazi.

Mogotsi was named as an unauthorised person with access to confidential police information.

This operation coincides with parallel probes from the Madlanga Commission and Parliament to get to the bottom of Mkhwanazi's explosive allegations.

Police said their presence is part of an ongoing investigation.
