“They have really become more elegant with filters that absorb more easily, are environmentally friendly, and apply beautifully onto the skin. Mineral formulations have also come a long way.”
She adds, “[Sunscreen] is not just an add-on to your routine. If you are going to spend money on your routine, it really should be on your sunscreen because it is really preventing your ageing and hyperpigmentation. It is more than just a last resort.”
And just because you use sunscreen, it does not mean you can stay in direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
Knight advises people to stay in the shade as much as possible and use their clothing and hats to cover any exposed areas.
