WEATHER: Expect a scorching, windless weekend in the Cape

Friday will feel like a hot, midsummer day, according to Accuweather.

Expect a high of around 33 °C and a low of about 18 °C. It’ll be bone-dry, and a light southeasterly will do little to cool things down; stay hydrated and don’t overdo it outdoors. 

Saturday cools just slightly. Expect a high near 30 °C and a low of 19 °C with little wind to offer relief. 

Sunday continues the warm, mostly sunny trend, reaching about 30 °C during the day and dipping only to 19 °C overnight. Without much breeze, the heat may feel a bit heavier, especially inland.

The UV index will be extreme each day.
