The two Ndimande brothers linked to the murder of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend, businessman Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, have now arrived in South Africa after spending nearly two years in Eswatini.

Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande fled the country after the murder of the rapper and entrepreneur.

Forbes and Motsoane were shot and killed on Durban’s Florida Road when leaving Wish Restaurant in February 2023.

Authorities fetched them from the Swati kingdom early on Tuesday morning.

The brothers arrived under heavy security guard, with members of the police’s Special Task Force escorting them.

International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL) officers handed them over to the investigating officers who charged them.

Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said, “They will be taken to Durban Central, where they will be processed, fingerprints and everything taken, and then they will proceed to court, where they will appear before a magistrate.”

KwaZulu-Natal Police Commisioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi is expected to attend the proceedings

“We are hoping also that the provincial commissioner of KZN, Lt General Mkhwanazi, will also be in court in support of this operation. I think it is a moment we’ve all been waiting for as the SAPS [South African Police Service],” said Mathe.

The group will also be charged in connection with other murder cases, including the murder of a taxi boss.
