Court hears Kilian used multiple ‘Modack’ aliases when sharing intel on attorney Booth

Evidence in the high-profile trial of alleged underworld gang boss Nafiz Modack shows co-accused Zane Kilian used various versions of Modack's name as references when he allegedly shared information about defense attorney William Booth with Modack.
Modack and five co-accused face charges of attempted murder after Booth survived a shooting at his Higgovale home five years ago.

Modack admits he was hired to do a debt collection from one of Booth's clients, but denies being behind the incident.
It's the State's case that Modack hired Kilian to ping the whereabouts Booth while planning an attempt on his life in April 2020.
State prosecutor Greg Wolmarans showed the court how Kilian used "Mo," "Nafiz 3,” "Naf" and other references, allegedly for Modack.
"You are linked with the reference Bo Boss. You are linked with the reference Nafiz 3. You are linked with the reference Mo. You are linked with the reference, Boss."
Modack denied receiving any information about Booth from Kilian.
Wolmarans is set to continue his cross-examination on Tuesday.
