WEATHER: Prepare for a bright, breezy Thursday in Cape Town

Cape Town is expected to enjoy plenty of sunshine tomorrow, though a steady breeze will be a noticeable feature in the afternoon and evening hours. According to the forecast from AccuWeather, daytime highs will reach around 24 °C.

Early morning will bring cooler conditions near 17 °C at minimum.

Winds will pick up from the south-southeast direction at about 35 km/h with gusts approaching 70 km/h in the later part of the day.

Skies are expected to remain clear through much of the day with the UV index at 11, which is extreme.

Overnight, the breeze will ease somewhat but remain noticeable, and temperatures will dip to the upper teens Celsius (around 17 °C) with skies remaining clear.
