Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies were crowned the Hollywood Super League champions for a sixth consecutive season.

Banyana Ba Style impressively secured the league title with two games to spare.

They were officially crowned champions following a 4 -0 victory against TS Galaxy Queens in their final league match.

After 28 games, Sundowns sat comfortably at the top of the table with 74 points, from 24 victories and only two losses.

Their closest challengers, TS Galaxy Queens, remained 66 points behind.

Coach Godfrey Sapula commends the team’s adaptability and resilience, crediting their ability to adjust to different situations.

“We have done well this season. I really believe that the team has great potential and capacity, and we can still improve. There is more to come next season.”

He adds, “After the disappointment at CAF, we went back and owed it to ourselves to play very strongly to give ourselves a possibility to redeem next season.”

Star player Isabella Ludwig reflects on her personal growth and confidence boost after scoring a hat-trick in a crucial game against the University of Johannesburg.

“This season came with a lot of challenges; it wasn’t easy, but I think being able to lift the trophy at the end, on a personal level, was an amazing feeling. There was a lot of work and effort that went into the season, a lot of growth on and off the pitch.”

Sapula emphasises the need for players to be coachable and willing to learn.

“There is a huge improvement in where the team was in the first round and where the team is now.”
