Chaotic scenes have unfolded at the crime scene where five people were shot and killed in the Bester area of Inanda, north of Durban.

Chaos broke out when they attempted to identify the bodies but were stopped, as forensic officers were still processing the scene.
One community member, who claims to have witnessed the officers opening fire, questioned their actions and whereabouts.
Meanwhile, police have maintained that the suspects were linked to attempted murder, murder and other serious crimes.
