Victor Majola, a taxi owner from Soweto, has been accused of orchestrating the murder of Warrick Stock popularly known as DJ Warras.
Majola is applying for bail in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court.
He was arrested six days after Stock was shot several times and killed in the Johannesburg CBD in December.
Testifying in a bid to oppose Majola's bail application, the Investigating Officer in the murder of Stock - claims that Majola was there on the day of the murder.
Captain Abe Montwedi of the Gauteng Investigation Unit, told the court that Majola can be seen on CCTV footage with the shooter about 45 minutes before Stock's murder.
Stock was gunned down outside a hijacked building called Zambesi House in the CBD.
Montwedi further revealed that Majola's girlfriend was one of six people who lived in Zambesi House that Stock had applied for protection orders against.
Majola's girlfriend, only identified as Hlengiwe, is allegedly part of an informal committee at Zambesi House that had been collecting rent from tenants and not paying the landlord.
