The man accused of orchestrating the murder of Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, has been denied bail.

Stock was gunned down in the Johannesburg CBD on 16 December in what is believed to have been a hit linked to work his security company was doing with hijacked buildings.

In her judgment, Magistrate Annalise Tlhapi said the evidence against Majola was overwhelming, and his release on bail would jeopardise the criminal investigation into Stock's murder.

“Therefore, the court found there are no exceptional circumstances which in the interest of justice may permit his release on bail. Therefore, his bail is denied.”
