Ellis Park Stadium management said that it is ready and excited to host the big derby clash between their home team, the Lions, and the Bulls on Saturday at 2.30 pm.
The Lions will have to be at their best to secure a win against the Bulls, who are fighting for a top-eight spot in the United Rugby Championship (URC).
Stadium media and PR manager Nyaniso Sam emphasised the importance of getting to the stadium early to soak in all the pre-match activities.
“We have got our beer garden, AND a players’ signing session before the game. We’ve got loads of entertainment. There is lots to do; it is a great family day out.”
He encourages fans to make use of the People’s Train or designated e-hailing areas to ensure they get to and from the stadium safely and avoid driving under the influence.
Matchday travel made easy. 🚆
