Cape Town police are investigating a bomb threat in the Wynberg Magistrate's court.

Police said they received an anonymous call about a bomb inside a car parked outside the court building.

In December, a similar call was made about a bomb planted on one of the floors inside the court.

Western Cape police spokesperson Thembakazi Mpendukana said no explosive devices have been found.

"The police immediately alerted the Wynberg police, the radio Control, the Bomb Disposal and the K9 Unit. After a thorough search at around 12:50 at Wynberg Magistrate's Court and the nearby streets, there was nothing found."
