[WATCH] Punch finds love: Japanese zoo's viral macaque has a girlfriend

Remember Punch, the baby macaque that went viral for cuddling a stuffed orangutan toy? Well, he now has a new companion — a female macaque named Momo-chan.

The internet has of course responded with lots to say about this new development:

Primedia's Digital Content Editor Barbara Friedman says this little creature had captured the hearts of people worldwide.

"But he has found love... isn't that what we wanted for him?"
