One of the accused in the attempted murder case of socialite Teboho Thobejane plans to escalate her fight to have charges against her dropped to the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP).

Nzama, Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala, and three others face over 20 charges, including 11 counts of attempted murder.
The group faces a total of 25 charges linked to three separate shootings allegedly committed between August 2022 and January 2024.
At Wednesday's court appearance, where only Nzama was present in the dock, her lawyer informed the court that they would now approach the NDPP to have the charges dropped.
