The football fraternity is mourning the loss of former player Tendai Ndoro, who passed away at the age of 40.
The Zimbabwean reportedly died at his home in Johannesburg on Monday, 18 August 2025.
Orlando Pirates, his former club, shared a message of condolences to his family on social media.
“The club extends heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time.”

Ndoro also had stints with Ajax Cape Town, Highlands Park, Al-Faisal in Saudi Arabia, and Al-Orouba in Oman.
He played for the Zimbabwean national team from 2013 to 2017 and was part of the team that qualified for the 2017 African Cup of Nations finals.
He retired in 2020 due to illness.
