The Nel Dog Show 

When: Thursday, 5 June (5:30pm) from Thursday, 31 July

Where: The Nel Gallery, 117 Long Street, corner of Church Street
 
About the event: The Incredible Dog Show, also known as The Nel Dog Show, is a high-caliber dog show that visits Cape Town. 
It features dogs that have achieved multiple National Championships, broken Guinness World Records, and excel in various disciplines. 
The show's focus is on entertainment, education, and inspiration, with a strong emphasis on responsible pet ownership and motivational principles. 
Come and see how our local artists pay homage to our canine companions.
This is a malleable show and never static, work will keep being added to the hang throughout the two months of its hanging.
Please note: cats are not allowed. 

Doggy Market by Golden Retriever Society Cape Town

When: Saturday, 28 June, 10am to 1pm - please note, this event has been postponed due to weather

Where: Cape Handler's Dog Club: Theo Marais Sport Complex Park, Koeberg Rd, Milnerton
 
About the event: The society turns two years old and invites the public to celebrate with a doggy market! Bring you furry friend for a day of fun, games, treats with a variety of vendors to support and prizes to support. 

Alphen Antiques & Collectables Markets

When: Sunday, 8 and 22 June from 10am to 3pm

Where: St Joseph's Marist College Hall: off Belmont Road, Rondebosch

About the event: A variety of items will be on sale. Entry is free. There is ample parking and refreshments are available.

The Down to EARTH market 

When: Wednesdays, 4pm to 9pm and Saturdays, 9am to 3pm
Where: IPA Timour Hall Villa, St Joans Rd, Plumstead
About the event: Cape Town’s go-to market for a fun, family-friendly experience! It’s the perfect place to enjoy delicious food, live music, incredible local vendors, and even donkey interactions for the kids.

Free crochet lessons and picnic in the park with Carlie's Darlings

When: Every Saturday from 9am to 1pm at Westridge Library AND every Thursday at Lentegeur Library from 9am to 1pm
