Majozi is celebrating 10 years in the music industry!
Known for his uplifting blend of folk, pop, and indie, Majozi has won over audiences with hits like Fire, Darling, and Waiting, now, the South African singer-songwriter is putting on a show at the Baxter Theatre.
Majozi brings his heartfelt melodies and captivating storytelling to the Concert Hall at the Baxter Theatre on 2 August 2025 in a show called: Songs & Stories with Majozi.
This intimate evening promises a soulful mix of music and stories.

Majozi says the show is inspired by people who have used his music as a soundtrack to special moments in their lives...
"I get so many stories and I'm really starting to appreciate those stories and appreciate that a lot of my music has been the soundtrack to people's lives and the most special moments and I get to be part of that -- and what a privilege it is, what a privilege for me to be a part of people's lives in a different way without even seeing or knowing them... I am so so grateful."
- Majozi, Singer-songwriter
Before achieving 10 successful years in the industry, Majozi reminisces about his five years as a bank teller before coming this far, something he wouldn't have banked on.
So, the way his music has touched people over the past 10 years is a beautiful thing," says Majozi.
Although, Majozi's not "convinced" that he should be described as a "musician" or "singer-songwriter."
"I'm not sure if I'm totally convinced with the title of me being a musician or singer-songwriter... at the end of the day I'm a human who gets to do music... I don't want to identify as a musician. I'm a human who gets to do music, people get to listen to my music and they get to share in that experience with me and it's such a beautiful thing... I couldn't be happier."

In case you missed it, Majozi had a photo moment in the Kfm studio and performed live... yes, it was epic.
