Moses Mabhida Stadium ready to host election manifesto launches, assures eThekwini municipality

DURBAN - It’s all systems go for the City of eThekwini as it gears up to host manifesto launches at its Moses Mabhida Stadium ahead of this year’s elections.
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), African National Congress (ANC) and Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) are set to launch their manifestos at the stadium.
The EFF will host its one on Saturday, while the governing party is expected to hold its own later this month.

The city’s Mandla Nsele said all is in order. “We are happy to announce that the Moses Mabhida Stadium is ready to host the event.”
He added that the safety of all attendees has also been prioritised.
“To ensure the safety of attendees and the general public, the metro police working together with law enforcement agencies will be deployed to key locations across the city to ensure safety and to control traffic,” Nsele said.
