AKA, Tibz murder case: 3 of 7 suspects expected to apply for bail

JOHANNESBURG - The high-profile double murder case of Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane returns to the Durban Magistrates Court on Monday.
Three of the seven men arrested in connection with the case are expected to make their bail applications when proceedings get under way.
Two others made their bail applications last week, including Lindokuhle Mkhwanazi and Siyanda Myeza.

Lindani and Lindo Ndimande, as well as Mziwethemba Gwabeni are again expected to be in the dock for their bail applications.
Last week, the court heard that the trio was not ready to make an application as their affidavits needed to be amended.
Gwabeni, a Durban businessman is accused of being the paymaster in the case.
The State alleges he received a sum of more than R800,000 in his business bank account which he subsequently paid to his co-accused.
The money is alleged to have been payment for the hit on musician Forbes over a year ago.
Meanwhile, two others arrested in connection with the case remain in Eswatini.
Brothers, Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande are set to appear in the Manzini Magistrates Court in Eswatini on Tuesday.
South Africa has yet to file extradition papers to have them brought back to the country to face charges.
