Ward councillor Devon Steenkamp says Joburg Water needs to find a permanent solution to the water problems in Randburg.
He says the water utility has attributed the recent interruptions to a leak at the Honeydew reservoir, and a restriction in the system from Rand Water's end.
Steenkamp says water tankers can be found at Honeydew Eco Village, Puttick Avenue, Denne Sundowner, and at 252 Montrose Avenue, Northgate.
Steenkamp urged residents with water supply in the affected areas to use it sparingly.
