Hlabisa says IFP willing to apologise for disrupting NFP election manifesto launch

DURBAN - Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) leader Velenkosini Hlabisa said his organisation is willing to apologise for disrupting the National Freedom Party's (NFP) election manifesto launch, should he be required.
There have been tensions since the weekend after a helicopter with an IFP banner flew over the Ulundi Regional Stadium in KwaZulu-Natal during the NFP's campaign rally.

Hlabisa said his party was merely campaigning ahead of the polls.
"If really they say this disturbed them seriously, we will not have a problem to apologise that the [helicopter] had to fly in the Zululand area and coincidentally there was a rally. So, we welcome that anyone who feels offended must express his or her offence."
