CAPE TOWN - Operations have resumed at GrandWest casino, where there was some flooding earlier on Thursday.
Videos on social media show water gushing from the roof into the building.
GrandWest spokesperson Elouise Matthys said the flooding was contained to a passage outside the smokers' casino and there's been no damage to equipment.
"Our engineers and technicians are currently assessing the damage in the roof. We are grateful that our damage is so minimal given that many homes and businesses have suffered enormous damage."
