Travel influencer Aanvi Kamdar dies after falling into India’s Kumbhe waterfall
What should have been a fun trip to a popular spot with some friends turned into a tragedy.

Social media creator Aanvi Kamdar tragically passed away on Tuesday (16 July) after falling 92 metres into the popular Kumbhe waterfall.
The 27-year-old slipped and fell while shooting content at the waterfall with seven friends.
“She fell on the hard, slippery patch of rocks about 300 feet (94 metres) into the valley and couldn’t be spotted initially,” a rescuer told the Economic Times.
It took a team six hours to find her, using a stretcher to lift her out.
She was taken to a nearby hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
Kamdar was a chartered accountant well known for documenting her worldwide travels.
She has gained a following of over 278 000 people on Instagram.
