Underwater archaeologists have discovered a stunning marble floor among the ruins of an ancient Roman city.

The sunken city of Baie is located under the sea in the Gulf of Naples, Italy, not too far from Pompei.

It is reported to have been the porch of what was once a luxury holiday retreat.

Archaeologists have been recovering several relics from the city over the years.

“Can they bring it up without destroying it, that is one of the tricky things.”
