Some athletes are even turning to dating apps during the games.
Tinder reported a 52% jump in the number of users with ‘Olympian’ as their job description.
Popular dating app Grindr does not want to be part of the antics, confirming it has turned off its location services in and around the village to protect athletes' privacy.
Team USA rower Emily Delleman shared her experience in a TikTok video.
