Four men dead after car crashes on Ekurhuleni freeway

JOHANNESBURG - Four men have died after the car they were travelling in crashed on the R59 freeway, just before the Kliprivier Road off-ramp in Ekurhuleni.
Paramedics and the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) were called to the accident scene just before 7am on Sunday morning.
On arrival, they found the car with four adult males several metres away from the road.
City of Ekurhuleni spokesperson, William Ntladi, said the cause of the crash was unknown at this stage.
"All four occupants were lying around the vehicle. Unfortunately, on assessment, all of them were declared deceased by paramedics. It is still under the investigations of EMPD."
