DURBAN - Kwazulu-Natal police are assessing an active crime scene in Groutville on the North Coast, where officers shot and killed two suspected criminals.
It is believed that they were behind numerous crimes in the area.

This is the latest in a series of shootouts with suspected criminals in the province.
While police have been criticised for their actions, Minister Senzo Mchunu has defended them, saying lawlessness will not be tolerated.
