Africa Melane speaks to Fanelo Ndweni, a dancer in 'Winter Dances', presented by Cape Town City Ballet (CTCB).

Celebrating 90 glorious years of Cape Town City Ballet, 'Winter Dances' opens tonight at the Artscape (29 August) and runs until 1 September.

'Winter Dances' is set to showcase a vibrant collection of works by emerging choreographers and exceptional talent.

This exciting programme will highlight the versatility and talent of the CTCB artists through a diverse range of styles, exhibiting their energy, athleticism, grace, and emotional depth.

Ndweni, who has been training as a ballet dancer since he was eight years old in Johannesburg, says he is looking forward to performing in 'Winter Dances' which is 'going to be spectacular' and will 'bring people to happiness'.
