Moroka Nancefield Road between Elias Motsoaledi and Mncube Drive temporarily closed after heavy rains

JOHANNESBURG - In the south of Johannesburg, the Moroka Nancefield Road between Elias Motsoaledi and Mncube Drive in Mofolo South, Soweto has been temporarily closed from Tuesday until further notice.
This is after Monday night’s heavy rains caused mud and debris onto the road, rendering it inaccessible in both directions.
The Johannesburg Roads Agency has advised motorists to use alternative routes from Elias Motsoaledi Road and Klipspruit Valley Road.
The agency said that only residents with properties along the affected stretch would be permitted limited access.
