Five people have already been arrested, but authorities said the investigation is still ongoing.
The list of suspects connected to the disappearance, and possible murder of the journalist and his partner has now grown to seven.
Police have identified two more individuals, Thato David Madisha and Sello “Skhalo” Uoane.
They’re believed to have played a role in the case or may have vital information.
Ndlovu and Mdhluli were last seen in Mamelodi, east of Pretoria, in February.
Five suspects were arrested earlier in May and face charges of kidnapping and possession of stolen property.
Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said a manhunt is now underway for both Madisha and Uonane.
“While tracking teams are on the ground searching for the pair, the two suspects are also advised to voluntarily hand themselves over.”
Meanwhile, the families of Ndlovu and Mdhluli are still waiting for DNA results to determine whether two bodies found in Rust de Winter, Limpopo, earlier this week belong to their loved ones.
