Two shootings in Bontheuwel, CT leave 1 dead, 2 wounded

CAPE TOWN - Two shooting incidents in Bontheuwel, Cape Town have left one man dead and two others wounded.
Police are investigating cases of murder and attempted murder after the back-to-back incidents in the Cape Town suburb.
Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg says two men, aged 37 and 42, were shot and wounded on Friday night in what is believed to be a gang-related attack.
"Police members responded to a complaint of a shooting, and upon arrival on the scene, they found the victims with gunshot wounds to their bodies. Both victims were taken to a medical facility for medical treatment."
Twigg says gang tensions flared again hours later when a second shooting in the same area left one man dead.
"In another shooting incident on Saturday morning, at about 01:55, police members responded to a shooting in Teak Road, Bonteheuwel, where they found an adult male with a gunshot wound to his head. The victim was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel."
Police have arrested at least two people in connection with the shootings.
