Ex-presidential bodyguard questions delay in arresting alleged cyberbully threatening the president

CAPE TOWN - A former presidential bodyguard has lambasted authorities for taking more than a week to arrest an alleged cyberbully threatening the president.
Twenty-eight-year-old Sabelo Masango appeared in the Cape Town Magistrates Court on Monday for allegedly making threats against the president, Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis and the CEO of a Cape Town-based company.

Conroy Herandien, a former member of the presidential protection squad, said that the Hawks' specialist crimes against the state unit was assigned the case.
"But what’s concerning about it is that the complaint was laid on the 10th and arrests were effected on the 23rd, now you’ve got somebody threatening two high-ranking officials in the country, and it took you eleven days to effect arrests."
