Total Ninja denies not attending to a woman who fell and suffered an injury
Khethiwe Mngomezulu was using one of their indoor obstacles last month when she slipped, fell and injured her knee and dislocated her left arm.
JOHANNESBURG - Obstacle course facility Total Ninja has said that it had medical personnel on site on the day that a woman fell and sustained an injury, which later led to her leg being amputated.
Khethiwe Mngomezulu was using one of their indoor obstacles last month when she slipped, fell and injured her knee and dislocated her left arm.
While Mngomezulu initially stated that she was sent to the store's sickroom and left unattended, Total Ninja disputes these claims.

Total Ninja spokesperson Brett Glen explains.
"She was immediately assisted by our onsite medic and three marshals who promptly took her to our first aid room via a stretcher and secured her accordingly," said Glen.
Glen added that their medics wrote an initial report that Mngomezulu had sprained her knee and dislocated her arm from their preliminary assessment.

"Our guest chose to be transported by her sister, and we believe to Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital,".
On the day of the incident, Mngomezulu says she first went to Bheki Mlangeni Hospital and only in the early hours of the next day was she transferred to Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital due to the extent of her injury.
She said when she arrived at Baragwanath hospital, doctors told her it was too late to save her leg because the infection on her leg was growing, and to save her life, the leg needed to be amputated. The infection had developed due to the loss of blood flow to the limb.
Glen stated that they have kept in touch with Mngomezulu since the accident and are currently deliberating on her demands for future medical assistance.
This comes after the EFF Youth Command in Soweto, Mngomezulu and Total Ninja held a meeting last Saturday to discuss the incident.
