JOHANNESBURG - The police ministry said maximum resources have been roped in to assist in finding a missing teenager in Bloemfontein.
It’s been more than a week since Kamogelo Baukudi was reported missing, with no signs of his whereabouts.
Earlier in June, the 19-year-old boy was travelling with his friend in his car when two men allegedly impersonating police officers stopped their vehicle.
The men alleged that the teen’s car was suspected of delivering drugs and took him into their vehicle, claiming to be driving him to a police station.
One person has been arrested for the crime and will appear before the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court soon.

The police ministry continues to appeal to the public for assistance in finding the missing teen and other suspects involved in the matter.
“The team has followed up on various leads and has spoken to family members, and friends and has also engaged with their sources in an attempt to find the missing teen,” said police minister spokesperson Kamogelo Mogotsi.
“The investigation is still underway, and the ministry assures the public that maximum resources have been deployed to ensure Kamogelo's safe return.”
