The world's best surfers are in action at South African surfing mecca Jeffreys Bay in the Eastern Cape.
These top wave riders are competing in the Corona Cero Open J-Bay, set to be decided this week.
They include local icon Jordy Smith, wearing the yellow leader jersey with his world number one ranking this season in the World Surf League (WSL).
Fellow surfing legend Gigs Cilliers predicts thrilling conditions in view of more big storms set to hit the region later in the week.
"It's the World Surf League's Championship tour and the best men and women in the world are taking on J-Bay's fabled supertubes."
