CAPE TOWN - An 18-year-old learner from a high school in Mitchells Plain has been arrested for allegedly stabbing four of his classmates.
Police believe an argument between the grade 10 learners from the school in Tafelsig led to the attack.
The motive is still unclear.
Western Cape Education Department spokesperson Millicent Merton said the injured learners were rushed to hospital.
"The social worker provided counselling support for the learners involved in the incident. Ongoing counselling support will also be provided to the learners who witnessed the incident."
