Man linked to Khayelitsha triple murder arrested

A 25-year-old man linked to a triple murder in Khayelitsha in February has been arrested.

Three people were killed and three others injured when they came under attack in Khayelitsha's C section on 8 February this year. 

Police said they received a tip-off about one of the suspects’ whereabouts.

However, he managed to get away while the police were trying to arrest him.

"His freedom was short-lived when he was arrested on Monday, 22 September 2025, when he was appearing in court for another matter. The adult male will appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrate's Court on Thursday, 25 September 2025, on murder charges," said the police's Wesley Twigg.
