ActionSA has reinstated one of the eight councillors from the City of Johannesburg that it fired in September.
The decision was taken following talks between lawyers representing the party and the eight councillors.

In September, the party let the eight members go, accusing them of not doing their jobs.
The group disputed the move, saying the party did not follow due process.
The councillors approached the Johannesburg High Court with the aim of interdicting their replacement.
Their spokesperson, Elmari Atterbury, said all the councillors wanted the same thing - to retain their posts.
